Tampa, Florida is known for its fun in the sun and its rich history in cigar manufacturing. People from all around come to enjoy their action packed night life in the heart of the entertainment district, Ybor City.

While the famed Tampa Bay Buccaneers hold down the football energy it looks like there’s a new, even more passion filled presence in town and this unique energy drink is turning up the heat in Tampa.

Sex Drive Energy Drink has been working its way through Florida over the past year and now the Tampa area has extended its hospitality to them through the help of TBBA. The TBBA contacted Sex Drive a few months ago to test the energy drink in 50 of their 200 stores.

“We’re excited about the opportunity to show what we were made of and to expand the brand’s Florida presence,” says Sex Drive’s Senior Vice President, Robert Folts.

Less than a month after the test market launched, Sex Drive got approval to sell in all of the TBBA convenient stores in Tampa. Proving once again there’s a passion for their product, they gladly accepted. The sales haven’t slowed down since. The sell-through rates are above the benchmark set by the stores in Tampa.

“That initial 50 store test market creates an opportunity to sell Sex Drive in over 5300 associated stores,” says Sex Drive’s CEO, Steve Utley.

Sex Drive’s Senior Vice President, Robert Folts, adds, “With these kinds of sales this will prove to be the beginning of many prosperous business ventures for Sex Drive Energy Drink in and around the Tampa area.”
